The Art of Herbs


Susan Wallis, renowned Canadian encaustic artist and From the Farm Cooking School have collaborated on a unique art cookbook.

"The Art of Herbs" is a collection of Wallis' "Garden Series" of herb encaustic paintings (the ancient medium of mixing oil pigment with molten wax) paired with herb infused recipes from personal chef and food writer, Cynthia Peters.

The biggest dilemma will be whether to keep the book close at hand in your kitchen or on display as an art book on your coffee table. Highlighting five culinary herbs - chives, tarragon, lemon balm, basil and coriander, this book showcases the beauty and taste of these fresh and flavourful plants.
